day 1: san francisco

This past week I was in San Francisco for the Inter Solar Convention. SF is so much more snazzy than LA in many ways. Friendlier people, nicer buildings, cleaner air, awesome seafood, pedestrians being hit by cars...the list could go on. The convention itself was long. Very long. Hours of sitting and listening and endless pages of notes.

Anyways here's a glimpse of the first day- beginning with a 6 hour drive up to said destination. Butt numbage and the same CD playing over and over again, but with great company it isn't so bad!

First night we went to this place called Waterbar but we missed the happy hour $1 oysters so that was a bummer, but great place for ambiance! After that snazzy meal and a windy 15 minute walk back to the hotel, we met up with the rest of the coworkers and hit up a nearby pub, Murphy's, which was right across from our hotel.
